Since Rusty is gone for the holiday season and the girls birthday also fall in late winter/early spring; this year I divided up our time so all the grandparents have a little time with the girls. Next year Ashley will be in school and hopefully Rusty will be home and our travels will be limited. So here are just a few pictures of the time we spent in Michigan with all kinds of grandmas and grandpas. Before seeing our family we met Heather (my bestest girlfriend) and her 3 kids in a hotel in Indianapolis.
The following day we continued our "adventure" to Taylor, Michigan to meet Heather's parents. We had a wonderful dinner and visit.
Unexpectantly, Heather's family gave us wonderful Christmas gifts. Later that night, we continued on to visit Grandpa Sears and Grandma Barb. We enjoyed snowball fights, sledding and just freezing to death.
Grandpa pulled them all over Webberville, Michigan; even put a hole in the sled. But the fun wrapped up and then we traveled further up north to Deckerville, Michigan. OMG, it was cold and there was plenty of snow for the GIRLS to enjoy. Again we went sledding, made snow angels, played on the frozen pond and the best of all we made cookies with Grandma Schroeder. Wonderful memories!

Then our trip carried us to The Sears Farm in Horton, Michigan. This is the home of Rusty's Uncle Mark, Aunt Jill and there wonderful children and friends. But this time we had a special friend, Brynn. This would be Uncle Mark and Aunt Jill's first grandchild.

Now that SOME of the pictures have been shared, I just want to reiterate how tiresome and exhausted the trip was with two little girls under 5 and an old cranky dog. BUT, I had equal fun with each stop and my children and I will also enjoy and cherish every moment we made with our extended family.
It sure was nice that you could visit us. It looks like the girls had a good time with the various grandparents.
