At Alison's school the had a Noah's Ark Parade for Halloween and she chose to be a butterfly. And what a cute butterfly she was.
Ashley's school took a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. It was a perfect day. Here is Ashley with her friends and chaperone.
Finding the perfect pumpkin.
Voila! Perfect.
The bonus with this pumpkin patch, it is also an apple orchard and with the season near its end. Farmer Vernon said they could pick an apple for snack. Like Ashley is new to picking her own apples.
Ashley and Kylee posing for a pic.
Ashley's wagon with her class. She really liked the Cowboy/Farmer.
A nice picture of the leaves changing colors down our driveway.
For a change, we got a chance to hang out with Dad at work. His office sponsored trick or treating for the children. Ashley went as an elegant witch and Ally as a fairy.
Trick or Treat!
Mrs. Kat, is one of our favorites. She is from New Orleans and just adores the girls. It is nice having a Maw Maw to keep Rusty in line at work.
Here are the girls and Rusty working on our pumpkins. Rusty is cutting the tops, Ally is plucking the seeds and Ashley is complaining how cold it is.
Smile DAD!
Ally and Dad still diligently working and Ashley is nowhere to be found.
Our final products. One pumpkin with teeth and the other with "eyeglashes".
The girls wanted them to get married, so they are now husband and wife.
Our children are cold and the pumpkins are lit.
I love all their costumes! And the pumpkin carving was precious! Guess Ashley is ready for long underwear til next summer! It's hard to get a little cold body to stay outside for any project...well, maybe for Trick or Treating...
